I have seen smirks,
half grins
cries
screams
frowny faces
mad faces
and about
every facial expression in between...
HOWEVER
Today that changed
I was sent a photo from a mommy that just got home from DRC
this week. She was there visiting her baby girl and happened
to drop by and visit Chloe and Eli's orphanage.
She spent a lot of time with them and really has said so many
wonderful things about how sweet they are!
While we have NO updates on our actual process
I wanted to share this sweet face with those
of you that have been praying for our two little ones
for such a long time
Thank you for continuing to pray for our family
The Lord holds us though the enemy continues to press
on all sides. I would ask that you please pray for
Cameron and I as we walk these last steps to bring them
home. It has been so difficult on us as individuals, as a couple
and as parents. We appreciate those of you that lift our family
before the Lord!

LOVE this picture!!! Their smiles tell so much Ashley, they are being well taken care of and loved where they are until their forever family can hold them. What a difference since we last saw them in October! Chloe looks like a totally different child! Praying hard that God will bring them home where they belong!!
ReplyDeleteI am crying from the deepest part of my heart for you and your family and CHloe and Eli. I am so proud of you and the way you have lived God's love out loud even in the midst of the chaos and hurt. You are an inspiration to my heart. I needed to read all of your words today. I did not know you had a blog before this. This is very hard for me to accept. When I took these photos I so desperately wanted God to allow these little ones home to your family. I am choosing to stand with you and trust, but man oh man this is hard.
